Case Study: Nurochek – From DFM to Regulatory Milestone with Integrated Design and Manufacturing

Threegon collaborated on the Nurochek system, a Good Design Award-winning medical device for concussion detection. Starting from early CAD, we performed comprehensive DFM, managed approximately 30 tool sets for 75 mechanical parts, and achieved T0 off-tool samples in 4-5 weeks while ensuring IP rating compliance on sub-assemblies.

The project advanced through engineering builds, testing, and modifications, supporting subsequent regulatory milestones including Nurochek Pro submissions. This demonstrates the value of early manufacturing integration for medical plastic products under ISO 13485.
